Quality Care for Little Smiles
At Gallery Park Pediatric Dentistry, we specialize in restoring the health, function, and beauty of your child's smile.
Our restorative care services are tailored to address a wide range of pediatric dental concerns, ensuring that your child can smile confidently, no matter their dental situation.
Understanding Pediatric Restorative Dentistry
Pediatric restorative dentistry focuses on diagnosing and treating issues that affect the health and functionality of children's teeth.
From simple fillings to more complex restorations, our team is committed to providing gentle, effective care that helps preserve your child's natural smile and maintain strong, healthy teeth.
Restoring Functionality for Growing Smiles
Whether it’s filling cavities or placing crowns, pediatric restorative dentistry aims to return full functionality to your child’s teeth. This allows them to chew, speak, and smile with confidence, knowing their teeth are healthy and strong.
Preserving Baby Teeth
Whenever possible, our goal is to preserve your child's natural baby teeth until they are ready to fall out. Through treatments like pulpotomies (baby root canals) and crowns, we can save teeth that might otherwise need to be extracted, supporting your child's oral development.
Gentle & Customized Care
Every child’s smile is unique, which is why we tailor our restorative treatments to meet their specific needs. From tooth-colored fillings to crowns, our gentle, kid-friendly approach ensures that their dental work looks and feels natural while keeping them as comfortable as possible.
Our Pediatric
Restorative Treatments
Each treatment at Gallery Park Pediatric Dentistry is designed to repair damage, restore function, and improve your child’s smile.
Here are the restorative services we provide for our younger patients.
Tooth-Colored Fillings
When cavities occur, we use tooth-colored fillings to restore the integrity of your child’s teeth. These fillings repair damage while blending seamlessly with their natural teeth, helping them maintain a confident, natural-looking smile.
Fillings also protect the tooth from further decay, ensuring that it stays healthy and strong.
Dental Crowns
Dental crowns are custom-made restorations that cover and protect a severely damaged or decayed tooth.
For children, crowns help restore the tooth's function and prevent further damage, offering long-term stability until the baby tooth is ready to fall out naturally.
Baby Root Canal (Pulpotomy)
If your child’s tooth is infected or severely decayed, a baby root canal (pulpotomy) may be necessary to save the tooth.
This procedure involves gently removing the infected portion of the tooth's pulp and sealing it to prevent further infection, preserving the tooth until it’s naturally replaced by an adult tooth.
Crowns / Strip Crowns
For younger patients, strip crowns are a durable solution for restoring decayed or damaged baby teeth. These crowns help protect the tooth until it naturally falls out, ensuring your child’s smile remains healthy and fully functional.
Tooth Extractions
In cases where a baby tooth is too damaged to be repaired, extraction may be the best option. We ensure that the process is quick and as comfortable as possible, providing a soothing environment to minimize any anxiety your child may have.
